    Area of Research:
    Modeling of turbulent, compressible, reacting flows and heat transfer.

    Research work:
    • Computational studies on near injector phenomena of semi- cryogenic and tri-propellant engines.
    • Computational studies on three dimensional supersonic mixing of fuel with air in scramjet combustors.
    • Computational studies on two dimensional supersonic mixing and reaction of hydrogen with air in scramjet combustors.
    • Performance evaluation of new generation IC Engines using vegetable derived fuels.
    • Development of experimental setups for demonstrating fundamental heat transfer concepts.

    Projects:
    • Numerical simulation of turbulent reacting flows in semi cryogenic and tri- propellant engines.
    • Performance evaluation of new generation IC Engines using vegetable derived fuels. Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment.
