Campus Infrastructure

The main campus at Valiamala houses the academic area, research laboratories, library and information blocks, computer centre, administrative area, senate cum convocation area, residential area for the members of the faculty, administrative and support staff. There is a students activity centre, and a sports complex for both students and faculty members. Besides this, all the students who have been enrolled have the privilege to access to the libraries and the Laboratories of ISRO which is equipped with the latest books and other facilities to carryout high-end research. As the Institute is a strictly residential one, all the students will be provided with accommodation in the hostel and at the same time Doctoral and Post Doctoral fellows shall be provided with studio apartments. A guest house is in the offing for visiting scientists visiting professors, visiting faculty members and other dignitaries stopping over the campus. There are support service buildings, primary health care center, health clubs and other student’s amenities centres in the campus.
