Sri.N.Vasudevan officiated as Registrar from 2007 till Dec-2011.
N. Vasudevan belongs to the 1987 batch of the Indian Forest Service. He is a Post-Graduate in Marine Biology from Cochin University, and has a Post-Graduate Diploma in ‘Public Policy and Management’ from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (2006), specializing in WTO issues. He also attended a Course on ‘Public Policy with an International Perspective’ from Maxwell School of Public Policy in Syracuse University, USA.
As an officer in the rank of Chief Conservator of Forests, he has handled several key assignments in the Government. He has served as Managing Director, Kerala State Co-Operative Federation for Fisheries Development (MATSYAFED), Project Director, Attappady Hills Area Development Society (AHADS) and Managing Director, Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC).
He is the recipient of a Special Award from MS Swaminathan Foundation for his work on Mangrove Forests of Maharashtra. Countries visited include Japan, USA, Thailand, France, Spain and Italy.
