The objective of the Satellite Oceanography and Meteorology (STORM) School is to foster the next generation atmosphere/ocean scientists and satellite meteorologists in particular. The students will be exposed to the latest operational and research satellite missions and promote the use of satellite observations for understanding the weather and climate of the Earth’s atmosphere. Under the STORM program, a three day training will be given to the students at postgraduate level who are working/interested in this area. The training program consists of lectures in the forenoon sessions followed by hands-on training in the afternoon.
The students currently pursuing/completed MSc in Physics / Mathematics / Meteorology / Atmospheric Science / Oceanography, B.Tech Engineering Physics (3rd year and above), Integrated MSc (4th year and above) are eligible to apply.
