The Placement Cell of IIST continually liaisons with industry, R&D organizations, and management organizations, with the foresight of Training, Career-Guidance, Internship/Project, and Campus Placements. The Placement Cell works closely in line with the policies of the Institute and tries to coherently match the interests of students with an appropriate job profile.
The Placement Season begins in August/September and goes on till May.

Recruiters can contact Placement cell office directly by sending a brief email [placement[at]iist.ac.in] expressing their interest.
Recruiters can get registered on Placement online portal. Registered recruiters have individual login credentials for their account or they can download the “Company Registration Form” and send us the filled form to Placement office for job/ internship requirements.
Recruiters can schedule PPT’s Tests, Interviews on the allotted date(s) with the students on prior consent with the Placement cell. All communication about final results should be communicated only with Placement Cell. Any kind of direct communication with students for declaration of results will not be appreciated.
