In terms of University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, Prof. Ajayaghosh, Former Director, NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram and Prof. Gopal Mugeraya, Former Director, NIT, Goa have been appointed as Ombudspersons for the redressal of grievances of students of the Institute. The period of appointment is for three years.

The grievances of students not resolved by the Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee will be heard and decided by Ombudsperson.
