The Centre for Career Guidance and Placements of IIST continually liaisons with industry, R&D organizations, and management organizations, with the foresight of Training, Career-Guidance, Internship/Project, and Campus Placements. The Centre for Career Guidance and Placements works closely in line with the policies of the Institute and tries to coherently match the interests of students with an appropriate job profile.
- Full time Placement.(Joining in June/July)
- 2-month summer internship (June – July) [BTech + MTech]
- 1 year internship starting in June/July [MTech]
- Industry partnered research internship (6 months at IIST + 6 months in industry) [MTech]
- 6 month internships (starting June/July [MTech] or Jan [BTech + MTech(In selected branches)])
The Placement Season begins in August/September and goes on till May.
