Prof. Dipankar Banerjee, Vice Chancellor, IIST, delivered a distinguished talk titled "Celebrating Space Day with Aditya L1 Mission" as part of the National Space Day celebrations at the National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Thiruvananthapuram.
Samvaad, the Debate and MUN club of IIST, is a dynamic community of vibrant individ- uals. Samvaad aims at fostering fearless expression, lively discourse and critical thinking skills for the holistic growth of students. Dr. Anish Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, along with his collaborators from IITD, have receievd Ali H Nayfeh Best Paper Award for the paper with title “Effect of Friction and Stiffness Nonlinearity on Vibrations of a Disc Brake Caliper and Its Control Prospects” presenetd in the Fourth International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference (NODYCON 2025) 2025, held in New Jersy, USA during 22-25th June 2025.
