The Department of Physics is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the fields of Applied & Adaptive Optics, Solid State Physics, Statistical Physics & Nonlinear Dynamics, Atomic & Molecular Physics, Quantum Optics, Quantum Information & Quantum Technologies. With this expertise, the department is progressing towards establishing a centre for excellence in Quantum Technologies.

The Department of Mathematics offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level for Aerospace, Avionics and Engineering physics branches. Department also runs an M.Tech programme in Machine Learning and Computing. At present we have 11 faculty members working in various areas of pure as well as applied mathematics. Read more
