B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (data science) integrates data science into the core of computer science. With the availability of large amounts of data, every industry nowadays focuses on data-driven decision-making.  This programme will train students to solve problems in the area of data science using scientific methods and algorithms to extract information from data, which will help solve real-life problems. The curriculum of the program is designed in such a way as to provide broad knowledge on topics like programming, statistics, data analysis, machine learning, and often includes big data, deep learning, and specialized areas like Natural language processing. The undergraduate students, after the completion of this programme, go on to become Data analysts, Data Engineers, Machine learning engineers, data scientists, and Data architects by analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, predict future outcomes, and develop data-driven solutions for various business challenges.
