Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration

IIST is organising Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrations on 21st April 2026, honouring the monumental legacy of Dr B.R. Ambedkar. This special day serves as a powerful reminder of his tireless crusade for social justice and his visionary role in shaping the democratic fabric of our nation. To honour his spirit, the institute has organised a commemorative program featuring a formal floral tribute followed by an invited talk titled "Ambedkarite Idea of Democratizing Indian Democracy", and an elocution competition for students and staff. We invite all students, faculty, and staff to join us in the IIST Council Hall at 3:00 PM.
