The Swachh Bharath Abhiyan Implementation Committee, as part of the Swachhtha Hi Seva Campaign activities, organized an Expert Talk on “Zero Waste” on 21st October 2025 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the Multipurpose Hall, SAC.  The speaker was Mr. Shibu K. N., Regional Organics Campaigner, GAIA Asia Pacific. The session was led by Mr. Shibu K. N., who has over 25 years of experience in environmental campaigns, research, and policy advocacy related to zero waste initiatives at local, national, and international levels. As a consultant specializing in designing, developing, and monitoring zero waste systems for communities, non-profit organizations, and governments, Mr. Shibu shared valuable insights on sustainable waste management practices and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in achieving a zero-waste future. The talk focused on sustainable waste management and zero waste systems for communities and institutions.Mr. Shibu shared his experience from over 25 years in environmental campaigns and policy advocacy, emphasizing local action and collective responsibility. Participants gained practical insights into reducing waste and adopting sustainable lifestyle practices.
