GIS Day Celebration – One day Hands-on workshop on NISAR Data Processing
As part of global GIS Day 2025 celebrations on November 19, IIST, in collaboration with the IEEE GRSS Kerala chapter and GSAC, a hands-on workshop focused on NISAR Data Processing was hosted. Expert scientists from SAC (Space Applications Centre) led the session, demonstrating and teaching participants how to utilize the data from the upcoming data products NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) data. This workshop promoted awareness of vital GIS technology and its future applications in decision-making.
