GIS Day Celebration – One day Hands-on workshop on NISAR Data Processing
As part of global GIS Day 2025 celebrations on November 19, IIST, in collaboration with the IEEE GRSS Kerala chapter and GSAC, is hosting a hands-on workshop focused on NISAR Data Processing. This significant event marks one of the few workshops on this topic, occurring before the official NISAR data release. Expert scientists from SAC (Space Applications Centre) will lead the session, demonstrating and teaching participants how to utilize the data from the upcoming data products NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) data. This workshop promotes awareness of vital GIS technology and its future applications in decision-making.
