IIST Annual Sports Meet 2026

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) gears up for the IIST Annual Sports Meet 2026 and its Inaugural Ceremony, scheduled for Friday, 30 January 2026 at 8.30 a.m at Magudagiri ground. The Sports Meet will be inaugurated by Shri Suresh Sam Chandy, Ironman Triathlete, Motivational Speaker and Humanitarian, who will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The function will be presided over by Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, Pro Vice Chancellor, IIST. The sports meet includes various track & field events such as javelin throw, shot put , running events etc.
