International Women’s Day is observed globally on 08 March every year. At IIST, the celebration will be held on 11 March 2026 (Wednesday). On this occasion, a special programme is being organized to honour and celebrate the remarkable contributions of women across diverse fields. Smt. Anu Kumari IAS, The District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala shall be the Chief Guest and Dr. Sherin Noordheen Founder and Director, Let's Live (Mental Health Advocacy & Awareness NGO) shall be the Guest of Honour for the programme. In addition, an exhibition-cum-sale of handicrafts including paper-crafts, hand-crafted jewellery and home-made snacks will be arranged near the multi-purpose Hall, SAC, starting from 11:00 am onwards.
