Konchords is IIST’s annual cultural night — a platform open for students and faculty to showcase their talents across music, dance, poetry, drama, and much more. This year, the event was held on the evening of 7 November, bringing excitement to performers and audiences alike. Preparations started from the morning, as IIST’s open-air amphitheatre transformed into a lively, blazing stage equipped with excellent sound and visual effects, setting the perfect atmosphere for confident and passionate performances. From singing duets, energetic group dances, engaging poems, a set of well-coordinated band performances to immersive drama acts – this evening had it all. Adding to the excitement, a lucky draw ran throughout the night, offering attractive prizes to many students. Student-run food stalls were set up beside the stage, serving a of tangy snacks and sweet treats that enhanced the festive mood. The audience’s energy and applause remained strong until the very last act. Overall, Konchords delivered an enjoyable, memorable evening that brought the entire IIST community together in celebration of creativity and talent.
