Overview of the activities of BIS and Standardisation in the Field of High-Performance Fibres, Fibrous Structures and Textile Components of Composites
In this talk Mrs. Shikha Yadav will give a presentation on overview and activities of BIS and standardization in the area of textile components of composites.
Mrs. Shikha Yadav is Scientist-'B' & Assistant Director (Textiles Department) in Bureau of Indian Standards, headquarters, New Delhi. She has completed her B. Tech. in Textile Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute, Kanpur (Formerly GCTI) and M. Tech. in Textile Engineering from IIT Delhi . She secured All India Rank 2 (AIR-2) in GATE 2022. . Joined Bureau of Indian Standards as Scientist-B in April 2024, Prior to joining Bureau of Indian Standard, she has worked for 15 months as Scientist ‘B’ in Central Silk Board, Bangalore. She has also worked for 8 months in Vardhman Fabrics, Budhni after the completion of the B.Tech.
