Talk on ‘Nonlocal Conservation Laws for Traffic Flow’
Abstract:
consider a nonlocal coupled system of hyperbolic conservation laws with applications in crowd dynamics and traffic flow. The system is coupled through nonlocal terms in the convective part. We present finite volume approximations for this system and discuss some recent results on its well-posedness obtained through these approximations. Numerical experiments illustrating the findings will also be presented.
