As part of the induction program for the incoming batch of first-year UG and PhD students, a session on Gender Sensitization was organised. Dr. Gita Gopal, who has a doctorate in law and has worked for some time as the Gender Advisor to the Government of Kerala was invited as a special speaker for the session. In the session 'Respect for All', Dr. Gopal introduced the students to awareness about genders and what constitutes sexual harassment. The students were invited to share their views leading to a very lively interaction.
