The "One Student, One Tree" programme was organised on 29th July 2025, as part of the UG/PhD induction programme, with the aim of instilling a sense of environmental responsibility in students. By personally contributing to the greening of their new campus, students develop a tangible connection to their surroundings, cultivating a generation responsible towards the environment. Dr. B.N. Suresh, Hon. Chancellor, Prof. Dipankar Banerjee, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, Pro Vice Chancellor, Deans, and faculty, participated in the programme.
