The inauguration of the Induction Programme for the incoming B.Tech Admission Batch 2026 and the Ph.D. (Session) scholars, organized by the Department of Earth and Space Sciences (ESS), was held on 27th July, 2026 at 2:30 PM. The programme was attended by the newly admitted students along with their parents. The first day's programme commenced with a tribute to the Institute's Founder Chancellor Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, followed by the formal inauguration of the Induction Programme. The Vice Chancellor and the Pro-Vice Chancellor delivered addresses providing an overview of the Institute, its vision, academic environment, and student life. The Deans and UG admission chairperson addressed the newly joined students. The session also provided an opportunity for the incoming students and their parents to interact with the Institute's leadership and gain a clear understanding of the academic environment and support systems available at the Institute.
