Hindi Section, IIST has successfully conducted Spoken Hindi Classes for Drivers. A total of 22 Drivers (on contract) participated, with workshops organized in two batches of 11 each. Over the past year, beginning in February 2025, 12 workshops have been completed.

 With the classes now concluded,  a Valedictory Function was organised on May 29, 2026 from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm in the Council Hall, Admn. Block.  The successful completion of the program was marked with Conversational presentations by Drivers. They shared engaging and interactive presentations, reflecting on their journey through the program. Recognizing their dedication, Participation Certificates were awarded to them by the Vice - Chancellor and Pro - Vice Chancellor, IIST . The event was widely attended by officers, faculty members and staff of IIST.
