The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) congratulates Hathor Rockets Private Limited, an IIST-incubated spacetech startup, on raising ₹14 Crore in pre-seed funding, led by IITM Unicorn Frontier Fund-I, with participation from prominent angel investors.

Hathor Rockets is building ready-to-integrate liquid rocket engines for launch vehicles, in-space mobility platforms, and strategic applications.

The company was incubated at IIST’s Space Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre (STIIC) in 2023, where it has been part of the institute's startup and innovation ecosystem.

The funding marks an important milestone in Hathor Rockets' journey and will support the company as it advances its engine platforms, expands testing capabilities, and builds the team and infrastructure required to serve customers globally.
