Quantum Twin Interferometer Using Bright Two-Mode Squeezed States- Best Oral Presentation Award
Ms. Priyanka M. Kannath, Research Scholar in the Quantum Optical Technology Lab, Department of Physics, working under the supervision of Dr. Ashok Kumar, has been awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award at the International Conference on Optics, Lasers and Photonics (OPTIX-26), organized by the NIT Calicut Optica Student Chapter during April 1–2, 2026 at the NIT Calicut. She presented her recent research work titled “Quantum Twin Interferometer Using Bright Two-Mode Squeezed States.” Her study demonstrates enhanced phase sensitivity in multiple optical interferometers by establishing quantum correlations between them, highlighting its potential for advanced quantum metrology applications.
