Applications are invited for a Research Associate/Post-Doctoral position at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. The fellowship is funded by ASRG, ISRO through the project titled “Numerical Simulation of Single and Clustered Hall Thruster Plumes Using PIC-DSMC for Satellite Applications.” The Research Associate/ Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) will work under the guidance of : Dr. Shine S R, Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering , IIST. Project Title: Numerical Simulation of Single and Clustered Hall Thruster Plumes Using PIC-DSMC for Satellite Applications
- Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Shine S R, Department of Aerospace Engineering
- Funding Agency: ASRG, ISRO.
- Number of positions: One
- Desired qualification: Doctoral Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates submitted their PhD degree can also apply. However, the offer will be issued after the successful defense of their thesis, if selected for the PDF position.
- Desired Experience: Research/thesis experience in computational modeling of vrocket nozzles with familiarity with OpenFOAM and OpenDSMC
Monthly fellowship: Rs. 58000 + HRA
