SkyTrek with IIST is an outreach initiative by the IIST Astronomy Club aimed at bringing the wonders of the night sky closer to the public. Through this program, schools, colleges, and other organisations can request a telescope-based skywatch session conducted by IIST.
Whether it’s observing the craters of the Moon, the rings of Saturn, or distant star clusters and nebulae, SkyTrek with IIST offers a guided stargazing experience that blends hands-on observation with insightful explanations of celestial objects.
Please note that sessions are subject to weather conditions and the academic schedule at IIST. We will do our best to accommodate requests based on availability.
