Introduction to Kathakali by Professional Artists

IKS Club jointly with Cultural Committee convened a Workshop on Kathakali on 12. 11. 2025. Starting from the costumes and makeup, students could see the entire preparations for the Kathakali performance. A short presentation on the history and details of Kathakali was given. The performance started with the introductory dance Purappadu, followed by the performance of the attakkadha ‘Satyabhama Parinayam’ written by Dr. Jinesh, IIST.
