Description The Department of Mathematics at IIST successfully conducted a one-day hands-on workshop on Natural Language Processing (NLP) from an industry perspective on November 1, 2025. Sessions were led by distinguished IIST alumni, Mr. Aravindh A, Senior Engineer, and Dr. Asif Salim, Technology Specialist, both from AI & Automation, Litmus7. The workshop provided practical exposure to core NLP concepts and techniques using real datasets. Delivered in a beginner-friendly format, the sessions were accessible to participants from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to gain foundational NLP skills and a clear understanding of their relevance in modern applications.
