Power Electronics Instruction Lab
The Power Electronics Laboratory provides hands-on experience and practical learning in power
electronic converter systems, embedded systems, and electric drives for M.Tech and B.Tech
students. The laboratory is equipped with facilities to conduct experiments on various power
electronic converters, including rectifiers, DC-DC converters, and inverters, along with embedded
system-based control and implementation of power electronics applications. The laboratory also
supports experiments on electric drives, motor control, and performance evaluation of drive
systems. It provides students with a venue to develop their theoretical knowledge through practical
experiments, hardware implementation, and project-based learning. The laboratory features power
electronic converter modules, digital controllers, embedded system development boards, motor
drive setups, and associated test and measurement equipment for conducting academic
experiments and supporting student projects in power electronics and its applications.
